We'd arranged to take one of Rachael's friends kayaking and arrived at Anglesey Outdoors to pitch our tent at lunchtime. While setting up camp we got chatting to a neighbouring camper who had been left for the day while her partner was out paddling. We asked if she would like to accompany us for a gentle paddle around Trearddur Bay since Rachael's friend was pretty much a beginner.
So four us launched from the slipway on the North side of the bay and we had a very pleasant potter around the various reefs and the little bays thereabouts. With the sun out and little wind there were lots of other groups out, so it ended up a very sociable paddle as we stopped to chat with people we knew.
About 5km paddled.
